Designing a ring is one thing. Crafting it to genuine perfection is another. Beyond ethical sourcing and quality stones, we take real pride in how each piece is actually made, technical precision, human craftsmanship, and no shortcuts anywhere in the process. Here's exactly how your ring comes together, step by step.

1. It Starts With Your Vision

The process begins with a conversation, at our Wembley showroom or via virtual consultation. Bring a Pinterest board, a rough sketch, or just a handful of words describing what you're after.

From there, we work through:

• Stone selection, moissanite or lab-grown diamond
• Preferred shape and carat size
• Style direction, solitaire, hidden halo, three-stone, east-west, or something entirely custom
• Metal choice, 14K or 18K white, yellow, rose gold, or platinum

Every detail is genuinely tailored to your specific taste and lifestyle, not selected from a fixed template.

2. CAD Design: Your Ring, Digitally, First

Once the design direction is clear, a high-resolution 3D CAD model is built. This step is genuinely essential, it confirms exact proportions, prong placement (we use claw prongs exclusively), symmetry, and how the ring will actually wear day to day.

You'll review rendered previews from every angle before anything moves toward production, and refinements happen at this stage, nothing goes into production until every detail is approved.

3. Crafting the Setting

Once the CAD design is approved, the setting is cast in your chosen metal. Skilled Australian jewellers take over from here, shaping, polishing, and structurally reinforcing the band. Claw prongs are carefully sculpted to hold the centre stone securely without compromising how much light reaches it, and every curve is checked for balance before moving forward.

4. Stone Setting

This is where your centre stone takes its place. Using micro-setting tools under magnification, the stone is set with real precision and care. If your design includes side stones or pavé detailing, each one is hand-set individually for proper alignment and security.

Our default stone specifications: moissanite at D colour, VVS1 clarity; lab-grown diamonds typically at E colour, VVS2 clarity, though both can be adjusted to your exact custom specification during the design phase.

5. Hand Finishing and Final Touches

After setting, the ring goes through genuine hand-finishing, polishing, and cleaning, checking for:

• A smooth, comfortable fit against the finger
• Balanced sparkle and symmetry across the whole piece
• Refined subtle details, hidden stones, filigree, or custom engraving
• Prongs gently rounded rather than sharp
• Even, considered shine from every angle

No mass production, no shortcuts taken to save time at this stage.

6. Quality Checks and Presentation

Before your ring is ready, it goes through a rigorous final inspection covering:

• Prong integrity
• Stone setting alignment
• Overall finish and polish
• Accuracy against the originally approved CAD model

Once confirmed, your ring is packaged in our signature presentation box, ready for its next chapter.
