Product details

Description

Approximately 5 carat of east west oval lab grown diamonds in a lowrider setting, made to order in Perth. At 4 x 3 mm each stone is large enough to read individually, and because the ovals lie lengthways along the wrist the line covers noticeably more surface than a round bracelet of the same weight.

This is the most balanced weight in the oval range. Substantial enough to be the piece people notice, low enough in profile to wear through a working day without catching on a sleeve.

Diamond specification

  • Stone shape: oval brilliant, 4 x 3 mm, set east west
  • Setting: lowrider, a low profile mount that keeps the line close to the wrist
  • Total carat weight: approximately 5.00 carat, varying slightly with length
  • Colour: D, the highest grade on the colour scale
  • Clarity: VVS, inclusions invisible to the naked eye
  • Certification: IGI certified lab grown diamonds

At 4 x 3 mm the shape of each stone is clearly visible, which makes consistency of outline as important as colour and clarity. Joseph, our gemologist, matches every oval for length to width ratio as well as grade, so the line reads as one continuous piece rather than a row of individual stones.

Metal

  • Platinum 950: naturally white, never needs replating, the most durable option for daily wear
  • 18K gold, white or yellow: the fine jewellery standard, rich colour and excellent durability
  • 14K gold, white or yellow: a harder alloy at a lower price, practical for everyday wear
  • 9K gold, white or yellow: the most accessible solid gold option and the hardest of the three gold alloys

Solid metal throughout in every option, never plated.

Choosing your length

Measure your wrist, then add 1.5 to 2 cm. The bracelet should sit snug enough that the diamonds stay facing upward through the day, with room to slide one finger underneath. 16 cm suits wrists around 14 to 14.5 cm, 17 cm suits 15 to 15.5 cm, and 18 cm suits 16 to 16.5 cm.

Craftsmanship

Reinforced articulated links, a box clasp and a figure eight safety catch. Each link is hinged so the bracelet follows the curve of the wrist rather than sitting rigid across it. 6 to 8 weeks production, made to your chosen length and metal.

Included

  • IGI certification for the lab grown diamonds
  • Lifetime manufacturing warranty against defects in materials or workmanship
  • Free fully insured express shipping Australia wide with signature on delivery
  • Presentation box, velvet travel pouch, polishing cloth and care guide

Frequently asked questions

How much does a 5 carat oval lab diamond tennis bracelet cost?
From $4,990 in 9K gold to $8,090 in platinum 950, depending on length and metal. Every price includes D VVS IGI certified diamonds, hand setting in Perth and free insured shipping.

How long does it take to make?
6 to 8 weeks from order, made to your chosen length and metal in our Perth studio.

Why choose oval over round?
An oval covers more surface area than a round of the same carat weight because the shape is elongated. Set east west, that extra length runs along the wrist, so the bracelet looks wider and more substantial for the same money.

Is a lowrider setting secure?
Yes. Seating the stone low against the metal means less of the diamond is exposed to knocks than in a raised claw setting, and there is no high profile to catch on clothing.

Can it be worn every day?
Yes. Diamond is 10 on the Mohs scale. Remove it for the gym, swimming and heavy cleaning, and have the settings checked every 12 to 18 months.

Where is it made?
Designed and hand finished in our Wembley studio in Perth, Western Australia, delivered free and fully insured to every Australian postcode.
