Meridian Oval 12 Carat Lab Grown Diamond Tennis Bracelet

Approximately 12 carat of east west oval lab grown diamonds at 6 x 4 mm, hand set in a lowrider mount in our Wembley studio in Perth. This is the largest piece in the Meridian range and the closest a tennis bracelet comes to a solid band of diamond.

Each oval is a substantial stone in its own right. Laid end to end along the wrist, they produce a continuous run of light with almost no metal visible between them. It is a commission piece rather than an everyday one.

Assembling 12 carat of matched D VVS ovals is the hard part of this piece. At 6 x 4 mm every stone is large enough to be judged on its own, so the set has to agree on outline, colour, clarity and cut performance before a single one is mounted. Metal

• Platinum 950: naturally white, never needs replating, and the best structural support for a bracelet of this weight
• 18K gold, white or yellow: the fine jewellery standard, rich colour and excellent durability
• 14K gold, white or yellow: a harder alloy at a lower price, practical for everyday wear
• 9K gold, white or yellow: the most accessible solid gold option and the hardest of the three gold alloys

Choosing your length

Measure your wrist, then add 1.5 to 2 cm. 16 cm suits wrists around 14 to 14.5 cm, 17 cm suits 15 to 15.5 cm, and 18 cm suits 16 to 16.5 cm. At this weight a correct fit is critical, because a loose bracelet will rotate and turn the diamonds face down. We recommend a fitting at our Perth showroom before ordering.

Craftsmanship

Reinforced articulated links, a box clasp and a figure eight safety catch. Each link is hinged so the bracelet follows the curve of the wrist rather than sitting rigid across it. 6 to 8 weeks production, made to your chosen length and metal.

It is heavier than any other bracelet in the range and it will be noticed. The lowrider setting keeps the profile lower than a claw set piece of the same weight, which helps considerably, but this is jewellery for occasions rather than for the office.
