Every stone is D VVS. Most jewellers quote a range and blend grades down the line, because on a bracelet of 70 stones nobody checks. We hold the top of the scale on all of them, and Joseph, our gemologist, matches each diamond by hand for colour, clarity and cut consistency before setting begins.

Choosing your length

Measure your wrist, then add 1.5 to 2 cm. The bracelet should sit snug enough that the diamonds stay facing upward through the day, with room to slide one finger underneath. 16 cm suits wrists around 14 to 14.5 cm, 17 cm suits 15 to 15.5 cm, 18 cm suits 16 to 16.5 cm, 19 cm suits 17 to 17.5 cm, and 20 cm suits 18 cm and above or a deliberately relaxed fit. Most Australian women wear 17 cm or 18 cm.

What is the difference between lab grown and mined diamonds?
Origin and price. Lab grown diamonds are pure crystallised carbon with the same chemical, physical and optical properties as mined stones, graded on the same scales by the same laboratories. They typically cost 70 to 90 percent less, which is what makes 2 carat of D VVS achievable at this price.

Can it be worn every day?
Yes. Diamond is 10 on the Mohs scale, the hardest gem material available. Remove it for the gym, swimming and heavy cleaning, and have the claws checked every 12 to 18 months.
