Description

The Meridian is VYOR's signature tennis bracelet, a continuous line of lab grown diamonds running the full circumference of the wrist. At 1 carat total weight it is the finest piece in the range, a thread of light that sits flat under a shirt cuff and layers cleanly beside a watch.

Every Meridian is made to order in our Wembley studio in Perth and finished by hand by our senior master jewellers. Each diamond is held in a four claw setting, the classical tennis bracelet construction, which lifts the stone and lets light enter from every side.

Diamond specification

  • Total carat weight: 1.00 carat, distributed evenly across the full length
  • Colour: D, the highest colour grade on the scale, with no detectable tint
  • Clarity: VVS, very very slightly included, inclusions invisible to the eye and difficult to locate even under 10x magnification
  • Cut: Excellent round brilliant, selected for consistent light return along the line
  • Individual stone size: approximately 1.4 mm, matched for size across the entire bracelet
  • Stone count: approximately 95 to 100 diamonds on a 17 cm bracelet
  • Certification: IGI certified lab grown diamonds

D colour and VVS clarity is the top of the grading scale, and we hold it on every stone in every Meridian rather than on a centre stone alone. Stone matching matters more here than on almost any other piece of jewellery, because diamonds sit directly beside one another and any variation in colour or clarity is visible at a glance. Joseph, our gemologist, personally reviews and matches every diamond before it reaches the bench.

Metal

  • Platinum 950: the most durable choice for daily wear and the purest white backdrop for the diamonds. Naturally white, so it never needs replating.
  • 18K gold, white or yellow: the fine jewellery standard. Rich colour and excellent durability.
  • 14K gold, white or yellow: a harder alloy than 18K and more resistant to knocks, at a lower price. A practical choice for a bracelet worn every day.
  • 9K gold, white or yellow: the most accessible entry into a solid gold tennis bracelet, and the hardest of the three gold alloys.

Every metal option is solid throughout, never plated.

Choosing your length

Measure your wrist snugly with a tape or a strip of paper, then add 1.5 to 2 cm. A tennis bracelet should sit close enough that the diamonds stay facing upward through the day, with room to slide one finger underneath. Most Australian women wear 17 cm or 18 cm.

  • 16 cm: wrists around 14 to 14.5 cm, a snug petite fit
  • 17 cm: wrists around 15 to 15.5 cm, the most common size
  • 18 cm: wrists around 16 to 16.5 cm, the second most common size
  • 19 cm: wrists around 17 to 17.5 cm
  • 20 cm: wrists around 18 cm and above, or a deliberately relaxed fit

Craftsmanship and security

Reinforced links, a box clasp and a figure eight safety catch on every bracelet. Each link is articulated so the piece follows the natural curve of the wrist rather than sitting rigid across it. Production is 6 to 8 weeks from order, because every Meridian is made to your length and metal rather than pulled from stock.

Included

  • IGI certification for the lab grown diamonds
  • Lifetime manufacturing warranty against defects in materials or workmanship
  • Free fully insured express shipping Australia wide with signature on delivery
  • Luxury presentation box, velvet travel pouch, polishing cloth and care guide

Frequently asked questions

How many diamonds are in a 1 carat tennis bracelet?
Approximately 95 to 100 diamonds on a 17 cm bracelet, each around 1.4 mm. Longer bracelets carry more stones at the same individual size, so the total carat weight stays at 1.00 carat across every length.

What quality are the diamonds?
D colour and VVS clarity on every stone, IGI certified. That is the highest colour grade available and the second highest clarity band. We do not blend lower grades into the line to reach a price.

How long does it take to make?
6 to 8 weeks from order. Every Meridian is made to your chosen length and metal in our Perth studio rather than pulled from stock.

Is a 1 carat lab grown diamond tennis bracelet good value?
Lab grown diamonds are chemically, physically and optically identical to mined diamonds and are graded on the same scales by the same laboratories. They typically sit 70 to 90 percent below the price of a mined diamond of equivalent quality, which is what makes D VVS across an entire bracelet achievable at this price.

Which metal should I choose?
Platinum 950 for maximum durability and a permanently white finish. 18K gold for the fine jewellery standard. 14K or 9K for a harder alloy and a lower price. White or yellow available in every karat.

Can it be worn every day?
Yes. Lab grown diamonds sit at 10 on the Mohs scale, the hardest gem material available. Remove the bracelet for the gym, swimming and heavy cleaning, and have the claws checked every 12 to 18 months.

Where is it made?
Designed and hand finished in our Wembley studio in Perth, Western Australia, and delivered free and fully insured to every Australian postcode.

Each bracelet is handcrafted to order, with an average production time of 6-8 weeks after payment. If you need your bracelet sooner, please contact us to discuss expedited options.
