Meridian East West Emerald Half Bezel 5 Carat Lab Grown Diamond Tennis Bracelet

An east west emerald cut lab grown diamond tennis bracelet in a half bezel setting, made to order in Perth. The metal wraps the two long sides of each stone and leaves the ends open, so light enters from the sides in a way a full bezel does not allow.

At 3.5 x 2.5 mm the stones are a step larger than our full bezel version, and the open ends make each one look longer still. It is the same architectural language as the full bezel, with more light and a slightly softer outline.

Choosing your length

Measure your wrist, then add 1.5 to 2 cm. 16 cm suits wrists around 14 to 14.5 cm, 17 cm suits 15 to 15.5 cm, and 18 cm suits 16 to 16.5 cm. Most Australian women wear 17 cm or 18 cm.

What is the difference between a half bezel and a full bezel?
A full bezel encircles the whole stone in metal. A half bezel holds it along two sides and leaves the ends open, so more light reaches the diamond and the stone reads slightly larger. The full bezel is marginally more protective; the half bezel is brighter.

Which should I choose?
If the bracelet will be worn every day and knocked about, the full bezel. If you want maximum light and a more open look, the half bezel. Both are far more secure than a claw setting.

Are the stones bigger than the full bezel version?
Yes, 3.5 x 2.5 mm against 3 x 2 mm, at the same 5 carat total weight. Fewer, larger stones rather than more, smaller ones.
